More on video game Movies

Well, apparently Hollywood loves the Idea of a Halo movie. Rumors are that it will be sometime in 2007. The Doom Movie is in production!! The Movie starts out where a squad of marines is sent to investigate a quarantined science lab on Mars supposedly attacked by supernatural forces. The cast includes John Grimm (Karl Urban) or a.k.a. "the Doom Guy"and Dwayne Johnson, a sarge. Grimm's sister is the station's docter and suggestes that a human gene decides whether a person is good or bad and that an uknown virus is manifesting the dark side of the gene turning people into lots of freaky creatures, such as Imps, Pinkys, and Barons. It comes out around 10/21/05. Correct me if I am wrong.

Xbox360 Official Release Day

According from several sources the Xbox360's Official release date is November 22nd. Two versions will come out, 1 Basic package with no hard drive and a wired controller for about $299, and 1 premium package with a 20 GB hardrive and wireless controllers AND a subscription to Xbox Live Gold for $399. The Playstion 3 and Nintendo Revolution don't come out until spring '06 giving Microsoft a head start on the competiton.

Need for Speed?

Is there really a need for speed in small cars? I see commercials with small cars with 250 horsepower but do we really need to go 180 mph? 150 hp is more than you need to go 80 mph, but 10 miles above most standard speed limits. I feel like it is a waste of money paying for a car with a top speed of 180 mph, and the extra weight decreases gas milage. Feel free to express your thoughts.

Just remembering everyone who has lost family members in the terrorist attacks. This is the 4th anniversary of the attacks. Let's hope for no more.

Halo Movie... The facts the fiction and the pure speculation

Well, apparently the movie will hit the silver screens sometime, though the date is unknown. Bungie is keeping tight control over it, so no "real Cortana sidekick" or getting far off the plot. Who is Master Chief? We don't know...yet. But it probably won't be Viggo Mortenson or Tom Cruise. We don't know much but if Halo fails other video game movies will take it's place, Doom, Hitman, Max Payne, and Dead or Alive. Let's hope for the best!!

Xbox 360 Info

With the Xbox 360 release date coming up soon (rumored November 15, 2005), I thought i'd give some details:
Backwards Compatibility: Around 5-15 games supported at launch, more expected later. Halo 2 is a lock, Halo uknown though probably.
Hard drive: 20 GB hard drive at launch, 40 GB expected later 2006. Later may come with games preinstalled.
Xbox Live: Supported. Two different types, gold and silver.
Controller: Wireless, a tad bit smaller than the S controller for Xbox.
